RETURN POLICY
Eligible product may be returned in original packaging for a credit or refund of the purchase price within 14 days of purchase or shipment of Product to Buyer, whichever is later, less shipping and handling. In order to return Product purchased over the internet, or via the phone or facsimile, Buyer must email Customer Service at info@coltgunsshop.com, option 1 during business hours (Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm) and request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. An RMA is required to return Product. Customers who exchange Products that are found to be defective will receive a credit for original shipping charges.
You may exchange the product or receive a refund in the original form of payment. Merchandise must be returned in original packaging and in new, sellable condition.
Please allow up to 10 days after return is received an inspected for the refund to be processed.
Returns of some Products are subject certain requirements:
- Electro-Optics: Only new, unopened optics Products that still have the unbroken holographic seal in place can be returned for a refund/exchange within 14 days of purchase or shipment of Product to Buyer, whichever is later, less shipping and handling.
- Custom Works Concierge: Custom Works Concierge orders canceled BEFORE shipment will be refunded but will also be subject to a $200 restocking fee. Because each Custom Works Concierge FIREARM is specially customized, any order that has shipped cannot be returned or refunded.
- Products that cannot be returned at any time include, but are not limited to: firearms, ammunition, ammunition components, airguns, CO2, clothing that has been washed or shows signs of wear, opened consumable items and cleaning kits, opened DVD, CD or other copyrighted software or material, and items that have been damaged, used, are missing packaging or accessories, or are otherwise not in new, sellable condition.
Seller reserves the right to refuse any return or exchange.
If you return a Product that qualified you for a discount, promotional item, or promotional card and either (i) do not also return the discounted or promotional item, or (ii) have already redeemed the promotional card, Seller may deduct the value of the discount, promotional item, or redeemed card from any refund you receive for the return of the Product.

SHIPPING POLICY
As of June 28, 2022 Fed Ex implemented a change in their shipping procedure; ID scanning to be required for adult signatures. Their scanning technology will:
- Capture the recipient’s name associated with the ID and auto-populate the first initial and last name.
- Confirm the recipient is 21 years or older.
Their software does not record any other personal data (e.g., driver’s license number, phone number(s), birthdate, home address, etc.). Due to a change in policy from our freighter, COLT is implementing a change in our shipping procedure.
As of 1 September 2022, controlled items shipped via Fed Ex will require the following:
- Adult Signature Required
- Scanning of driver’s license in order to verify age upon delivery
If the recipient refuses to show ID as proof of age and signature, COLT will consider the shipment as refused, which could incur restocking or reshipping fees.
We appreciate your assistance in ensuring we are all in compliance with these new industry shipping protocols.
What are your shipping rates?
We offer four flat rate shipping charges based off your order total.
- FedEx Ground for ammunition and CO2 cartridges for airguns for $9.95 (adult signature required).
- 2-Day for $24.95. Same-day shipping for orders placed before noon Eastern. Weekend orders ship on the next business day.
- Standard Overnight for $34.95. Same-day shipping for orders placed before noon Eastern. Orders placed after 12pm EST on Friday will not ship until Monday. Weekend orders ship on the next business day.
- Overnight and 2-day air shipping options only deliver Monday through Friday.
- 2-day air shipping is required for customers who reside in Alaska and Hawaii.
- FedEx Ground, 2-day air or Overnight shipping is required for CALX kits, uppers and airguns. P.O. boxes are not permitted for these items and are signature required.
How quickly do you ship?
We typically ship Standard orders in 24-48 hours Monday through Friday. You will be notified via email once your order has shipped.
How long will it take to get my order?
Standard service typically takes 7-10 business days to receive your package. *Please note that transit times do not include order processing time and actual delivery times may be a business day or more.
How do I track my order?
You will receive a shipment confirmation e-mail including the tracking information when your order ships. We will also include an order tracking number on your order information page in your Account. To track the package, click directly on the tracking number. This will take you to the carrier’s website to track the order. Please note that it may take up to 24 hours before tracking information appears on the carrier’s website.
Do you ship internationally?
We do not ship outside the United States or to any U.S. Territories or Freely Associated States.
Why can’t you ship a high capacity magazine or ammunition to my address?
Some products cannot be shipped to certain states by law. We cannot make exceptions to this policy. If you have further question about which magazines can be purchased, please contact Customer Service.
I haven’t received my order – what should I do?
If your order is a few days late – don’t panic. Sometimes the carriers experience delays, particularly during the busy holiday season. Also, it may take a business day or two to process your order, particularly if you placed your order on a weekend or during a holiday when the carriers’ offices are closed. If you’re still concerned, then please check with your local carrier’s office. Sometimes the carrier will not deliver an order if he or she feels it cannot be left safely at its destination or if a signature could not be obtained for orders that require signature confirmation. The carrier will leave a notice on your door so that you know the order is waiting for you at your local carrier’s office, but it may have fallen off by the time you get home. Can I change my shipping address after the order has been placed?
Due to the nature of the products that SIG SAUER manufactures and ships, shipping addresses CANNOT be altered once products are shipped.
Does the Digital ID scanning change for FedEx ASR packages effect my shipment?
Yes, this will effect any Adult Signature Required (ASR) packages from COLT in the United States.
Can my package be held at a FedEx facility for me to pick up?
Packages shipped from SIG SAUER cannot be held at local FedEx facilities or airport due to the nature of our products.
